Counselling

Children and Adolescents Counseling refers to the process of providing mental health services to young people to help them cope with a variety of emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues. The goal of counseling is to help children and adolescents develop the skills they need to navigate the challenges of growing up, and to improve their overall well-being. This can include working on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, social skills, self-esteem, and many more.

Counseling can take many forms, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Many different techniques and approaches are used in counseling children and adolescents, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and solution-focused therapy. The counselor will work with the child or adolescent to understand their individual needs and create a tailored treatment plan that is most suitable for their needs, personal and family context, and the presenting problems.
